Playing cricket at Cammeray
Where we play
Cammeray Cricket Club plays across Sydney's lower North Shore. Our home grounds are Primrose Park in Cammeray, Willoughby Oval in Willoughby and Artarmon Oval in Artarmon. After the game we head to the Bridgeview Hotel on Willoughby Road.
When we play
The season runs from October through to March, with matches played on Saturdays. Registering now puts you in the mix for the 2026/27 season.
When we train
Pre-season training starts on Sunday mornings from mid-August. Once the season is under way in October, training moves to Tuesday afternoons. New players are welcome at training before committing to a season — come down and have a hit.
What it costs
We offer full-time, part-time and casual fees, so you only pay for the cricket you actually play. Our full-time fee is one of the cheapest going around, and it covers your kit as well: a white playing shirt, green training polos, training shorts and a baseball cap.
Grades and who we're looking for
We field six grades, so there is a side to suit you whether you have played representative cricket or have not picked up a bat since school. Players of all abilities are welcome, and if you would rather turn up with mates, we will do our best to keep you in the same side.
About the club
Cammeray has been playing cricket on the North Shore since 1886. Since then 1,389 players have worn the Cammeray Baggy Green and the club has won 40 premierships. Browse the club records or look through every player who has represented us.
